    One Million Acts of Green - Year-end Activity

    According to Canada's leading environmentalist, Dr. David Suzuki, children and youth play an important role in building a more sustainable world. Since last October, school children of all ages have showcased their efforts on One Million Acts of Green - a dynamic online green community - and proven their dedicated involvement. On June 9th, One Million Acts of Green is encouraging schools to give it one 'final push' before the end of the school year.

    From 1 to 1:45 pm EDT, David Suzuki, with George Stroumboulopoulos, will discuss:

    • The importance of rediscovering nature by becoming a professional spy;

    • How to be a leader and how to use your voice and your actions to get other people excited;

    • The history of "eco" - from economy to ecology; and

    • Stories from his own childhood and what life was like when he was a young student.
